THE CAUSE
Chabad of the Conejo is an educational and social service organization that provides a wide array of vital resources to people across the spectrum of the greater Conejo Valley community. Its doors and its heart are open to all – regardless of religious background, observance or organizational affiliation.
Beyond its outreach to the Jewish community through schools, youth programs, adult education programs, synagogues, mitzvah projects, and holiday programs, Chabad of the Conejo is a place people can turn to in times of distress. Whether through emergency food and shelter subsidies, crisis counseling, senior outreach, prison chaplaincy, hospital visitation, or programs for children with special needs, Chabad is that radiant “beacon of light” that pierces the darkness of night for so many finding themselves in dire circumstances.
As the Jewish people continue to weather the waves of animosity and adversity, it is as timely and as crucial as ever that we join together – in a spirit of love, generosity, compassion and solidarity – to light up the night!
